Global technology distributor Tech Data, has today officially merged with Synnex.
The new business now boasts over 150,000 technology customers globally, with partnerships in place with over 1,500 technology vendors.
But what’s more interesting is that the merger and subsequent creation of “TD Synnex”, knocks Ingram Micro from the top spot as the largest IT distributor, a position it has held for 30 or more years.

What lies in store for the future of technology distribution is uncertain, but all eyes will be on TD Synnex, with its much greater size and reach.
